Marcel Menegolla’s connection with design started at a young age. At only four years old, he was designing tree houses and attempting to incorporate detailed design elements into every “floor” of each house. At age six, his parents decided to renovate their home and he found it absolutely fascinating watching the installers put together the new cabinetry.
Without a doubt, he thought he’d follow in the footsteps of his parents and become an attorney, but it only took one semester to realize that his true passion was design. After graduating high school, he started working on cabinetry design at age 17 to pursue a career in design. He went on to graduate from University of Caxias do Sul in Brazil with an Associates Degree in Furniture Design.
In 2005 he received an opportunity to work for Florense’s export department and travelled to several countries to provide training and supervision of newly opened showrooms. Traveling abroad was one of the most impactful and transforming experiences of his career.
In 2010, Marcel moved to the United States to pursue his dream of living abroad and advancing his career. He later graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with concentration in entrepreneurship from Strayer University in Miami, FL.
