Only a few are as lucky as Marcel Menegolla to tap into their passion at such a young. At only four years old, he was designing tree houses and attempting to incorporate detailed elements into every “floor” of each house. At age six, his parents decided to renovate their home and he found it absolutely fascinating watching the installers put together the new cabinetry.
Without a doubt, he thought he’d follow in the footsteps of his parents and become an attorney, but it only took one semester to realize that his true passion was design. After graduating high school, he started working on cabinetry design at age 17 to pursue a career in design. He went on to graduate from University of Caxias do Sul in Brazil with an Associates Degree in Furniture Design and as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with concentration in entrepreneurship from Strayer University in Miami. Upon graduation, Marcel spent 5 years traveling to different countries to provide training and supervision on custom cabinetry design.
