Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, designer Bernardo Senna graduated in product design from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in 1997. In 2005, he is invited to represent the new generation of Brazilian design at the Maison et Objet Salon in Paris. In the following year, Senna holds an exhibition at the Design Mai show in Berlin. In 2007, his work is featured on the selective publication Design Brasil – volume 2, which showcases the most important contemporary Brazilian designers. Senna’s design philosophy is focused on the element of surprise.
