Paula Baleeiro was born in Salvador, Brazil and always thought her dream job was in healthcare. While studying physiotherapy at university, her entire path changed when one professor encouraged her to consider art and design after turning in an assignment with detailed handmade drawings.

Paula went on to graduate with a degree in Architecture & Urbanism while she worked as an architect’s assistant in construction sites of residential buildings. Upon graduation, Paula married and moved to New York where she worked as an interior designer with high end residential clients, architects, designers and developers in New York and the Hamptons. The experience provided a great challenge but also the perfect springboard into the design world.

Paula now lives in Miami. At Armazem she is able to showcase her full range of design expertise.
